Front Stabilizer Bar: Removal

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL 
  2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER 
  3. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 
    1. Remove the bolt and engine under cover LH

  4. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH 

    HINT.

    Remove the RH side following the same procedure as the LH side.

  5. SEPARATE FRONT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR LINK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the nut and separate the height control sensor link assembly

  6. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and the front stabilizer link assembly LH.

    HINT.

    If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon (6 mm) wrench to hold the stud.

  7. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT.

    Remove the RH side following the same procedure as the LH side

  8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and the front No. 2 stabilizer bracket LH from the front suspension crossmember.

  9. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT.

    Remove the RH side following the same procedure as the LH side

  10. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Remove the front stabilizer bar from the vehicle.
  11. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Remove the skid control sensor wire clamp from the front No 1 stabilizer bracket LH.
    2. Remove the 4 bolts and the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH from the frame.

  12. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT.

    Remove the RH side following the same procedure as the LH side.

  13. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSHING 
    1. Remove the 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushings from the front stabilizer bar.
