Seat Position Sensor: Removal

  1. PRECAUTION 
    CAUTION: Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing (See PRECAUTION  ).
  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the front seat assembly LH (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
      NOTE: When disconnecting the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
    2. Using a "TORX" socket wrench (T30), remove the "TORX" screw and seat position sensor with the seat position sensor protector

    3. Remove the seat position sensor from the seat position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.
