Clearance Warning Ecu: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system (See PRECAUTION ).

NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).

REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH
REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH
REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE ROPE HOOK (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE SIDE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU (w/o Pre-collision System)
1. Disconnect the connector
2. Remove the 2 nuts and clearance warning ECU

REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU (W/ Pre-collision System)
1. Disconnect the connectors.
2. Remove the 3 nuts and remove the seat belt control ECU and the clearance warning ECU as a unit.

3. Remove the 2 nuts and clearance warning ECU.
