Clearance Warning Ecu: Installation

  1. INSTALL CLEARANCE WARNING ECU (w/o Pre-collision System) 
    1. Install the clearance warning ECU with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL CLEARANCE WARNING ECU (w/ Pre-collision System) 
    1. Install the clearance warning ECU to the seat belt control ECU with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) 

    2. Temporarily install nut A.

    3. Insert loosely tightened nut A into the hole on the vehicle body (left side of the luggage compartment). Slide down the seat belt control ECU and the clearance warning ECU as a unit to temporarily install them
    4. Insert the 2 bolts into the holes on the vehicle body and fully tighten the 3 nuts in the order of B, A, and C.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

    5. Connect the connectors

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL ROPE HOOK  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  11. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH 
  12. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH 
  13. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 
  14. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
