Transmission Wire: Removal

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 
  2. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL  )
  3. DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID  (See REMOVAL  )
  4. REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL  )
  5. REMOVE VALVE BODY OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL  )
  6. REMOVE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  7. REMOVE TRANSMISSION WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the 3 speed sensor connectors.

    2. Disconnect the wire connector

      HINT:

      Detach the claw, press down the lever, and then disconnect the transmission wire connector.

    3. Using a 10 mm union nut wrench, remove the bolt and pull out the transmission wire.
    4. Remove the O-ring from the transmission wire connector.
