On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector from the rear combination light assembly
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage: 

      LH Side 

      STANDARD VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Q50-2 (STP) - Q50-6 (E) Brake pedal released Below 1 V
      Q50-2 (STP) - Q50-6 (E) Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V
      Q50-3 (TL) - Q50-6 (E) Light control switch in TAIL 11 to 14 V
      Q50-3 (TL) - Q50-6 (E) Light control switch OFF Below 1 V

      RH Side 

      STANDARD VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Q51-2 (STP) - Q51-6 (E) Brake pedal released Below 1 V
      Q51-2 (STP) - Q51-6 (E) Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V
      Q51-3 (TL) - Q51-6 (E) Light control switch in TAIL 11 to 14 V
      Q51-3 (TL) - Q51-6 (E) Light control switch OFF Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.
