Hazard Warning Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below

      Standard Resistance 

      STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      12 (F) - 8 (E) Hazard warning switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      12 (F) - 8 (E) Hazard warning switch ON Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly

  2. INSPECT CLOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance 

      STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      12 (F) - 2 (E) Hazard warning switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      12 (F) - 2 (E) Hazard warning switch ON Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the clock assembly.
