Steering Knuckle: Installation

HINT.

  1. INSTALL STEERING KNUCKLE 
    1. Temporarily install the steering knuckle to the upper suspension arm with the nut.

    2. Install the steering knuckle to the lower ball joint with the 2 bolts

      Torque: 120 N*m (1224 kgf*cm, 89 ft.*lbf)

    3. Fully tighten the nut and install a new clip

      Torque: 87 N*m (887 kgf*cm, 64 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE: If the holes for the clip are not aligned, further tighten the nut up to 60°.

  2. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION  )
  3. INSTALL FRONT DISC  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. CONNECT FRONT SPEED SENSOR WIRE  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL 

    Torque: 103 N*m (1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf) 

  7. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT 

    See ADJUSTMENT

  8. CHECK FOR SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
