TYPICAL MALFUNCTION THRESHOLDS

| A. Both of the following conditions are met while engine is not idling: | - |
| 1. Difference in fuel pressure between actual and target | Less than -5 MPa (-51.0 kgf/cm2 , -725 psi) |
| 2. Difference in high pressure fuel pump duty between actual and target | More than 100 mm3 /st |
| B. Both of the following conditions are met while engine is idling | - |
| 1. Difference in fuel pressure between actual and target | Less than -3 MPa (-30.6 kgf/cm2 , -435 psi) |
| 2. Difference in high pressure fuel pump duty between actual and target | More than 100 mm3 /st |
