Oil Pressure Switch: Inspection

- INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector
- Start the engine.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - Switch body Idling 10 kΩ or higher 1 - Switch body Engine stopped Below 1 Ω - If the result is not as specified, replace the oil pressure switch assembly.
Reconnect the oil pressure switch connector.
