HINT:
Using the Techstream's Data List allows switch, sensor, actuator and other item values to be read without removing any parts. Reading the Data List early in troubleshooting is one way to save time.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
Slide Roof

OFF: TILT DOWN switch is not pressed- Hall IC1 Pulse Sliding roof operation signal/LO or HI LO: Sliding roof motor is not operating
HI: Sliding roof motor is operating- Hall IC1 Status Sliding roof operation signal/ NORMAL or LOCK NORMAL: Sliding roof motor is operating
LOCK: Sliding roof motor is not operating- Hall IC2 Pulse Sliding roof operation signal/LO or HI LO: Sliding roof motor is not operating
HI: Sliding roof motor is operating- Hall IC2 Status Sliding roof operation signal/ NORMAL or LOCK NORMAL: Sliding roof motor is operating
LOCK: Sliding roof motor is not operating- Ignition (Direct Signal) Engine switch signal (Direct signal) / ON or OFF ON: Engine switch is on (IG)
OFF: Engine switch is off- Ignition (MPX) Engine switch signal (MPX signal) / ON or OFF ON: Engine switch is on (IG)
OFF: Engine switch is off- Door Courtesy Driver side door courtesy light switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Driver side door is open
OFF: Driver side door is closed- Door Key Close Operation Key-linked sliding roof close signal / ON or OFF ON: Door LOCK is turned to close position using key
OFF: Door LOCK is not turned- Door Key Open Operation Key-linked sliding roof open signal / ON or OFF ON: Door UNLOCK is turned to close position using key
OFF: Door UNLOCK is not turned- Wireless Open Operation Wireless sliding roof open signal / ON or OFF ON: Transmitter LOCK switch is pressed
OFF: Transmitter LOCK switch is not pressed- Key Off Permission Key-OFF sliding roof operation permit signal/ON or OFF ON: Driver side door is not closed within 45 sec. after engine switch is turned off.
OFF: Any status except "ON" status- Door Key Related (Open) Door Key Related (Open) / Available or Not available AVAIL: Sliding roof operation is available
NOT A: Sliding roof operation is not available- Door Key Related (Close) Door Key Related (Close) / Available or Not available AVAIL: Sliding roof operation is available
NOT A: Sliding roof operation is not available- Wireless Key Rel (Open) Wireless Key Rel (Open) / Available or Not available AVAIL: Sliding roof operation is available
NOT A: Sliding roof operation is not available- Door Key Related Operation Door Key Related Operation / Tilt or Slide TILT: Sliding roof (TILT) operates

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST

Performing the Techstream's Active Test allows relay, VSV, actuator and other items to be operated without removing any parts. Performing the Active Test early in troubleshooting is one way to save time. The Data List can be displayed during the Active Test.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.
