- READ DATA LIST
HINT:
Using the Techstream's DATA LIST allows switch, sensor, actuator and other item values to be read without removing any parts. Reading the DATA LIST early in troubleshooting is one way to save time.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Read the DATA LIST on the Techstream's screen.
Multiplex Network Body ECU:
NORMAL CONDITION CHARTTester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note Lugg Open Luggage door opener switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Luggage door opener switch is pushed
OFF: Luggage door opener switch is not pushed- Cowl Side Junction Block ECU LH:
CONTROL RANGE REFERENCETester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note Luggage Door Lock/Unlock Switch Luggage compartment door key unlock switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Door is unlocked
OFF: Door is locked- Luggage Push Switch Back door opener switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Power luggage door open switch is pushed
OFF: power luggage door open switch is not push- Open Position Switch Luggage open position switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Door is closed
OFF: Door is open- Close Position Switch Luggage close position switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Door is open
OFF: Door is closed- Luggage Courtesy Switch Luggage door courtesy switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Door is open
OFF: Door is closed-
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST
HINT:
Performing the Techstream's ACTIVE TEST allows relay, VSV, actuator and other items to be operated without removing any parts. Performing the ACTIVE TEST early in troubleshooting is one way to save time. The DATA LIST can be displayed during the ACTIVE TEST.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Perform the ACTIVE TEST according to the display on the Techstream.
