Inspection Procedure

1. Check for supplemental restraint system (SRS) DTCs.

   Result 

   RESULT REFERENCE CHART
   
   

   Result	Proceed
   No SRS DTCs are output	A
   SRS DTCs are output	B

B :  GO TO SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM

A : Go to next step 

1. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the tester ON.
4. Enter following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
5. Check the operation by referring to the table below.

   Combination Meter:

   Driver Side Seat Belt	Driver side seat belt warning light	Driver side seat belt warning light is OFF/ON	Confirm that the vehicle is stopped, engine idling

OK : REPLACE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY 

NG : Go to next step 

1. Remove the panel sub-assembly.
2. Apply battery voltage and check that the seat belt warning light illuminates.

   OK 

   MEASUREMENT CONDITION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Measurement Condition	Specified Condition
   Battery positive (+) → Terminal 11 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 6	Seat belt warning light Illuminates

   HINT:

   When the battery's negative (-) lead is applied to terminal 11 and the positive (+) lead is applied to terminal 6, the seat belt warning light does not illuminate.

NG : REPLACE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL

OK : REPLACE COMBINATION METER
