Operation Check

  1. CHECK FRONT SEAT HEATER CONTROL LH 
    1. Disconnect the b2 connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      b2-6 (E) - Body ground Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard voltage 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      b2-1 (SWL) - b2-6 (E) Power switch ON (IG), seat heater switch OFF Below 1 V
      b2-1 (SWL) - b2-6 (E) Power switch ON (IG), seat heater switch ON 10 to 14 V
      b2-4 (B) - b2-6 (E) Power switch OFF Below 1 V
      b2-4 (B) - b2-6 (E) Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    4. Reconnect the b2 connector.
    5. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      Standard voltage 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      b2-5 (THL) - Body ground Power switch ON (IG), seat heater switch volume 0 → 3 Gradual increase between below 1 V and 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the seat heater control may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK FRONT SEAT HEATER CONTROL RH 
    1. Disconnect the a2 connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      a2-6 (E) - Body ground Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard voltage 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      a2-1 (SWR) - a2-6 (E) Power switch ON (IG), seat heater switch OFF Below 1 V
      a2-1 (SWR) - a2-6 (E) Power switch ON (IG), seat heater switch ON 10 to 14 V
      a2-4 (B1) - a2-6 (E) Power switch OFF Below 1 V
      a2-4 (B1) - a2-6 (E) Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    4. Reconnect the a2 connector.
    5. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      Standard voltage 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      a2-S (THR) - Body ground Power switch ON (IG), seat heater switch volume 0 → 3 Gradual Increase between below 1 V and 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the seat heater control may have a malfunction.
