Rear Brake Pad, Brake Caliper & Brake Rotor: Removal

  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 
  2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID 
    NOTE: If brake fluid leaks onto any painted surface, wash off and remove it completely.
  3. DISCONNECT REAR BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE 
    1. Remove the union bolt and the gasket from the rear disc brake cylinder assembly, then disconnect the flexible hose.

  4. REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Hold the 2 rear disc brake cylinder slide pins and remove the 2 bolts and rear disc brake cylinder assembly.
