Check For Intermittent Problems
- CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
- Perform a simulation test (See
HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING
)
- In the simulation test, reproduce the driving condition at the trouble occurrence according to the customer's comments and freeze frame data recorded with DTCs, such as an opening angle of the accelerator pedal, SOC, engine coolant temperature, engine rpm, and Motor/Generator/ Rear Motor rpm and torque.
- Check the connector(s) and terminal(s) (See HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT ECU CONTROLLED SYSTEMS )
- Wiggle the harness and connector(s) (See HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT ECU CONTROLLED SYSTEMS )
- Heat or cool suspected parts (See
HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING
)NOTE: Do not directly heat or cool the MG ECU with the inverter cover removed.
- Perform a simulation test (See
HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING
