Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU (VOLTAGE CHECK)
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Specified Condition AS1G (H32-34) - AS1 (H32-27) 2.3 to 3.1 V
NG: GO TO step 4

OK: Go to next step
- CLEAR DTC (HV)
- Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / HV ECU / DTC INFO / CLEAR CODES.
NEXT: Go to next step
- RECONFIRM OUTPUT DTCS (HV)
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / HV ECU / DTC INFO / CURRENT CODES.
- Read output DTCs. (See
DTC CHECK / CLEAR
)
Result:
P3137-348 and P3138-349 are output.
NO: CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
YES: REPAIR HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
- INSPECT CIRCUIT BREAKER SENSOR NO.1
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the C17 circuit breaker sensor No.1 connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Specified Condition SIF- (C17-1) - SIF+ (C17-2) 0.65k to 1.0 kΩ at 20°C (68°F)
NG: REPLACE CIRCUIT BREAKER SENSOR NO.1
