Cooling System (Mechanical): Cooling: Radiator: Removal

DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine) (See COOLANT (FOR ENGINE) )
REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER NO.1
REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP W/INLET (See REMOVAL )
DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE INLET
1. Disconnect the radiator hose inlet from the No.2 radiator assembly.

DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET
1. Disconnect the radiator hose outlet from the No.2 radiator assembly.

SEPARATE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the 2 screws.
2. Detach the claws and remove the hood lock control cable cover.
3. Using a screwdriver, remove the cap.

4. Remove the 2 bolts and nut, and separate the hood lock.

REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
1. Remove the bolt and separate the suction tube bracket.
2. Disconnect the horn connectors.
3. Remove the 5 bolts and the radiator support upper.

REMOVE FAN SHROUD
1. Disconnect the coolant reservoir hose.
2. Disconnect the cooling fan ECU connectors.

3. Remove the 4 bolts and the fan shroud.

REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION
1. Remove the 2 radiator support cushions from the radiator supports.

1. Remove the 3 bolts and the radiator support LH.

1. Remove the 3 bolts and the radiator support RH.

REMOVE NO.2 RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the 4 bolts, and remove the radiator from the radiator support lowers.

2. Lift the radiator, then remove it.
NOTE: Do not allow the cooler condenser and radiator to come into contact with each other.
