Parking Brake Pedal: Removal
- DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER OUTER FRONT LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER INNER FRONT LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT LH SEAT ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT FLOOR FOOTREST
- Remove the front floor footrest from the floor.
- REMOVE PARKING BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts, and separate the parking brake cable assembly No. 1 from the floor.
- Remove the parking brake cable assembly No. 1 from the parking brake equalizer.
- Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.
- Remove the 3 nuts and separate the instrument panel junction block assembly with bracket from the body.
- Remove the 3 nuts and parking brake pedal assembly.
- REMOVE PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY NO. 1
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw.NOTE: Be careful not to damage the parking brake cable assembly No. 1.
- Remove the clip from the parking brake pedal assembly.
- Remove the lock nut and parking brake wire adjusting nut No. 1.
