Rear Brake Pad, Brake Caliper & Brake Rotor: Installation

  1. INSTALL DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.

  2. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER SLIDE PIN 
    1. Apply the lithium soap base glycol grease to the sliding part and the seal surface of the slide pin.
    2. Install the rear disc brake cylinder slide pin.
    3. Apply the lithium soap base glycol grease to the sliding part and the seal surface of the slide pin No. 2.
    4. Install the rear disc brake cylinder slide pin No. 2 to the bottom side of the cylinder mounting LH.

    5. Fully tighten the rear disc brake cylinder slide pin and the rear disc brake cylinder slide pin No. 2.

      Torque: 43 N*m (440 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)

  3. CONNECT REAR LH FLEXIBLE HOSE 
    1. Connect the flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket.

      Torque: 29 N*m (300 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf) 

  4. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID  (See BLEEDING  )
  5. BLEED MASTER CYLINDER  (See BLEEDING  )
  6. BLEED BRAKE LINE  (See BLEEDING  )
  7. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR  (See BLEEDING  )
  8. CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE 
  9. INSTALL REAR WHEEL 

    Torque: 103 N*m (1,050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
