SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL SWITCH (for Rear Side): Inspection
- INSPECT CURTAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
CURTAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLYTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 17 (BVR) - 20 (LVR) Switch ON (LH), COLD HI to HOT HI 1 Ω to 5 kΩ HINT:
As the dial is being turned, the resistance changes gradually.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
CURTAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY VOLTAGETester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition Tester positive (+) lead → 18 (SW2)
Tester negative (-) lead → 5 (SWE1)ON Below 1.5 V HINT:
As the circuit has a diode, perform the measurement with the tester in diode mode.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
