REAR SEATBACK HEATER (for Power Seat): Inspection

  1. INSPECT REAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Check the seatback heater.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance 

        EAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        f15-1 -f15-3 17 to 23°C
        (63 to 73°F)
        5.7 to 7.0 Ω
        A-1 - A-3 17 to 23°C
        (63 to 73°F)
        5.7 to 7.0 Ω
        f15-2 - A-2 Always Below 1 Ω
        f15-4 - A-4 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seatback cover LH.

  2. INSPECT REAR SEATBACK COVER ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Check the seatback heater.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance 

        REAR SEATBACK COVER ASSEMBLY RH

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        f3-1 - f3-3 17 to 23°C
        (63 to 73°F)
        5.7 to 7.0 Ω
        A-1 - A-3 17 to 23°C
        (63 to 73°F)
        5.7 to 7.0 Ω
        f3-2 - A-2 Always Below 1 Ω
        f3-4 - A-4 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seatback cover RH.
