Lumbar Support Adjuster Assembly: Removal

HINT:

  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the front seat assembly (see REMOVAL ).
  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH (See  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
  5. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (See  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (See  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
  8. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Remove the bolt and seatback cover bracket.

    2. for Front Passenger Side:
      1. Disconnect the connector.
      2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the power seat switch.

        HINT:

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    3. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and detach the hooks and remove the seatback cover with pad from the seat frame.

    4. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

      Disconnect the connector.

  9. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (BACK SIDE) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and climate control controller.

  10. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. for Driver Side:
      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
      2. Remove the 4 bolts and 2 lumbar support adjuster motors from the seatback frame.

    2. for Passenger Side:
      1. Disconnect the connector.
      2. Remove the 2 bolts and lumbar support adjuster motor from the seatback frame.
    3. Detach the 4 clamps and remove the lumbar support adjuster.
