REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): Disassembly

CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seatback spring, seat adjuster and seat cushion spring may injure your hands.
  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the hog rings and seat cushion spring.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and shoulder belt guide.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 pins and headrest.

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH 
    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.

  6. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the wire harness clamp.
    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts and detach the 2 claws.
    4. Remove the headrest adjuster.

  7. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU LH 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts and position control ECU.

  8. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System) 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts and climate control ECU.

  9. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH 
    1. Remove the nut and 2 seatback cover brackets.

    2. w/ Seat Climate Control System:
      1. Disconnect the connector.
      2. Detach the clip and disconnect the wire harness.

    3. Remove the hooks from the seatback frame.

    4. Detach the hooks and remove the hog rings and the seatback cover (with pad) from the seatback frame.

  10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seatback pad.

  11. REMOVE SEATBACK CLIMATE BLOWER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System) 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the 3 nuts.

    2. Detach the 3 hooks and remove the climate controller and blower.

  12. REMOVE REAR SEAT WIRE LH 
  13. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH  (See REMOVAL )
  14. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER ANCHOR BRACKET ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the nut and anchor bracket.

  15. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System) 
    1. Remove the wire harness clamp.

    2. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    3. Remove the 2 screws.
    4. Detach the claws and remove the climate controller.
  16. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System) 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts and climate blower.

  17. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT:

  21. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT RH

  22. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  23. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU RH 

    HINT:

  24. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU RH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

  25. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  26. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  27. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER RH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  28. REMOVE REAR SEAT WIRE RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  29. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH  (See REMOVAL )
  30. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY CENTER  (See REMOVAL )
  31. REMOVE REAR SEAT BELT INNER ANCHOR BRACKET ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  32. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER RH (w/ Climate Control Seat System) 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  33. REMOVE REAR SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER RH (w/ Climate Control Seat System) 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  34. REMOVE CENTER SEAT CUSHION COVER 
    1. Remove the hog rings and the seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.
    2. Remove the seat cushion pad from the seat cushion frame.

  35. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and center headrest.

  36. REMOVE CENTER SEATBACK FRAME COVER 
    1. Detach the 2 clips and remove the cover.

  37. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the wire harness clamp.
    2. Remove the 2 nuts and center armrest.

  38. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT CENTER ARMREST PANEL 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and rear seat armrest hole board.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the center armrest door.

    3. Remove the armrest door lock seal.

    4. Remove the screw.
    5. Detach the 12 claws and remove the No. 2 center armrest panel (with No. 1 panel).
    6. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
    7. Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 center armrest panel.

  39. REMOVE REAR POWER SEAT MODULE SWITCH ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  40. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and cup holder.

  41. REMOVE CURTAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 8 screws and rear No. 2 seat center armrest box.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and curtain switch.

    3. Disconnect the connector.
  42. REMOVE REAR ARMREST WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the connector and remove the 4 wire harness clamps.
