Driver Side Knee Airbag Assembly: Installation

INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
1. Connect the connector.
  NOTE: When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
2. Install the driver side knee airbag assembly with the 4 bolts.
  Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)

INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL NO.1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE (w/o Illumination) (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE (w/ Illumination) (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization (See INITIALIZATION ).
  HINT:
  
  Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
1. Inspect the SRS warning light (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
