Typical Malfunction Thresholds

[P0746 and P0771: OFF malfunction] 

All of the following conditions are met: OFF malfunction (A), (B) and (C)

2 detections are necessary per driving cycle

1st detection; temporary flag ON

2nd detection; pending fault code ON

OFF malfunction (A) 

TYPICAL MALFUNCTION THRESHOLDS TABLE

Turbine speed/Output speed 0.93 to 1.07

OFF malfunction (B) 

TYPICAL MALFUNCTION THRESHOLDS TABLE

Turbine speed/Output speed Not change as follow
0.93 to 1.07 ↓
0.65 to 0.79

OFF malfunction (C)
