Drive Belt: Removal
- REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See
REMOVAL )
- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See
REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET
- Remove the bolt and air cleaner inlet.
- REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT
- Rotate the tensioner pulley counterclockwise to loosen the belt tension. Then remove the V-ribbed belt.
NOTE:
- The pulley bolt for the belt tensioner has a left-handed thread.
- Do not perform this procedure from underneath the vehicle, as the tensioner may be damaged.

- Insert the 5 mm hexagon wrench into the hole to fix the belt tensioner.
