Front Brake Pad, Brake Caliper & Brake Rotor: Installation

INSTALL DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH
1. Install the disc brake cylinder with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 78.4 N*m (800 kgf*cm, 58 ft.*lbf)

CONNECT FRONT BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE
1. Connect the flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket.
  Torque: 39 N*m (400 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf)
  
  NOTE: Install the flexible hose lock securely in the lock hole in the disc brake cylinder.

INSTALL DISC BRAKE PAD KIT FRONT (PAD ONLY)
HINT:

Install the clip lock securely in the groove of the pad.
1. Apply disc brake grease to the anti-squeal shims and install them to each pad.
  NOTE:
  - When replacing worn pads, the anti-squeal shims must be replaced together with the pad.
  - Install each shim in the correct position and direction.
  - There should be no oil or grease on the friction surface of the pads and disc.
INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE ANTI-RATTLE SPRING
NOTE: The anti-rattle spring can be used again if it has sufficient rebound; no deformation, cracks or wear; and has had all rust, dirt and foreign particles cleaned off.
INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE ANTI-RATTLE WITH HOLE PIN
NOTE: The pin hold clip can be used again if it has sufficient rebound; no deformation, cracks or wear; and has had all rust, dirt and foreign particles cleaned off.

1. Install the hole pin while pushing on the front disc brake anti-rattle spring.

2. Install the pin hold clip.
DISABLE BRAKE CONTROL (for 3UZ-FE) (See BRAKE FLUID (FOR 3UZ-FE) )
ADD RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID (for 2GR-FSE) (See BRAKE FLUID (FOR 2GR-FSE) )
ADD RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID (for 3UZ-FE) (See BRAKE FLUID (FOR 3UZ-FE) )
BLEED BRAKE LINE (for 2GR-FSE) (See BLEEDING )
BLEED FRONT BRAKE SYSTEM (for 3UZ-FE) (See BRAKE FLUID (FOR 3UZ-FE) )
CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL (for 2GR-FSE) (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL (for 3UZ-FE) (See BRAKE FLUID (FOR 3UZ-FE) )
CHECK AND CLEAR DTC (for 2GR-FSE)
1. Check and clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

1. Check and clear the DTC (see BRAKE FLUID (FOR 3UZ-FE) ).
INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE
INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 103 N*m (1,050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
