Rear Brake Flexible Hose: Installation

1. Connect the rear flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket.

   Torque: 29 N*m (300 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf)

2. Connect the rear flexible hose to the shock absorber with the bolt.

   Torque: 19 N*m (193 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)

3. Connect the brake tube to the rear flexible hose with SST while holding flexible hose with a wrench.

   SST 09023-00101 

   Torque: 15 N*m (155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf) 

   NOTE:

   • Do not bend or damage the brake tube.
   • Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting points.
4. Install the rear flexible hose with a new clip.
   NOTE:

   • When installing the rear flexible hose, face the identification mark to the exterior of the vehicle and minimize twisting of the hose.
   • Install the clip as far as it will go.

Torque: 103 N*m (1,050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
