    COMBINATION METER

    Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
    POWER GND (C8-1) - Body ground L-B - Body ground Ground (Power ground) Always Below 1 V
    ILL - (C8-2) - Body ground L - Body ground Illumination signal Turn the ignition switch ON, combination switch TAIL Below 1 V -> 10 to 16 V
    CHECK ENGINE (C8-4) - Body ground BR - Body ground Check engine signal Turn the ignition switch ON, check engine warning light OFF -> ON 10 to 16 V -> Below 1.5 V
    MPX+ (C8-5) - Body ground Y - Body ground Communication line - -
    SPEED SIGNAL (4P) (C8-6) - Body ground LG - Body ground Speed signal (Output) Ignition switch ON, turn the wheel slowly Pulse generation (See waveform)
    IG2 (C8-8) - Body ground GR - Body ground Battery Ignition switch OFF -> ON Below 1 V -> 10 to 16 V
    TURN R (C8-13) - Body ground P - Body ground Turn signal flasher Ignition switch ON, turn signal RH indicator light OFF -> ON Below 1 V -> 10 to 16 V

    FUEL LID B PIN (C9-7) - Body ground P - Body ground Fuel lid open switch signal Turn the ignition switch ON, fuel lid open switch OFF -> ON 10 to 16 V -> Below 1 V

    MULTI MODE SW (C9-9) - Body ground Y - Body ground Multi mode switch signal Turn the ignition switch ON, multi mode switch OFF -> ON 4 to 6V -> Below 1 V
    H-LP LEVEL (C9-10) ((1)) - Body ground B - Body ground Headlight beam level control signal Turn the ignition switch ON, leveling indicator light OFF -> ON 10 to 16 V -> Below 1 V

    FUEL SENDER (C9-19) - Body ground V - Body ground Fuel level signal Ignition switch ON, fuel level MIN -> MAX 4 to 9 V -> Below 2V
    P SEAT BELT (C9-22) - Body ground P - Body ground Passenger side seat belt signal Ignition switch ON, passenger seat belt warning light OFF -> blinks 10 to 16 V -> Below 1 V
    WASHER LEVEL (C9-24) - Body ground LG - Body ground Washer level indicator light signal Turn the ignition switch ON, washer level indicator light OFF -> ON 10 to 16 V -> Below 1 V

    1. Waveform (Reference): Using an oscilloscope:

      Vehicle condition Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

      HINT:

      As vehicle speed increases, the cycle of the signal waveform narrows.
