Inspection Procedure

NOTE:
When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration (see CALIBRATION
).
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN SKID CONTROL ECU AND DLC3 (TS)) (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING
)
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in TERMINALS RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION TABLE .
Standard:
TERMINALS RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION TABLETester Connection Specified Condition S28-24 (TS) - D1-12 (TS) Below 1
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step

)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in TERMINALS RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION TABLE the table below.
Standard:
TERMINALS RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION TABLETester Connection Specified Condition D1-4 (CG) - Body ground Below 1
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in TERMINALS RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION TABLE the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN DLC3 (TS) AND BODY GROUND) (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING
)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in TERMINALS RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION TABLE .
Standard:
TERMINALS RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION TABLETester Connection Specified Condition D1-12 (TS) - Body ground 10 k or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID (SEE OVERHAUL )
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in TERMINALS RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION TABLE .
