Section 9 (Cooling (2GR-FSE)): Thermostat: Removal

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  2. REMOVE NO. 1 INLET AIR CLEANER (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 
  5. SEPARATE RADIATOR OUTLET HOSE 
    1. Disconnect the hose from the water inlet with thermostat.

  6. REMOVE WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUBASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts, water inlet with thermostat and gasket.
