DTC B2287 LIN Communication Master Malfunction; DTC B2289 Key Collation Waiting Time Over: Wiring Diagram

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU - CERTIFICATION ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the J55 ECU connector.
    2. Disconnect the P33 ECU connector.
    3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection (Symbols) Specified Condition
      J55-30 (LIN1) - P33-10 (LIN) Below 1 Ω
      J55-30 (LIN1) or P33-10 (LIN) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

    NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK : GO TO NEXT STEP 

  2. CHECK AND REPLACE POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU 
    1. Temporarily replace the certification ECU with a new or normally functioning one.
    2. Check for DTCs again.

      OK: No DTC is output. 

      Result

      NG (When troubleshooting according to the DTC B2287) B
      NG (When troubleshooting according to the DTC B2289) C

    B : REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU 

    C : GO TO  SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START   (MATCHING FOR THE INSIDE OF THE CABIN CANNOT BE PERFORMED) 

    A : END (POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU IS DEFECTIVE)
