Throttle Body: Removal

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (See  COOLANT  ) 
  3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  5. DISCONNECT NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE 
    1. Disconnect the ventilation hose from the cylinder head.

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 
    1. Disconnect the MAF meter connector.
    2. Disconnect the clamp from the air cleaner.

    3. Disconnect the VSV hose.

    4. Disconnect the 4 clamps.
    5. Remove the hose clamp and air cleaner cap with air cleaner hose.

  7. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY 
    1. Disconnect the throttle motor connector.
    2. Remove the 4 bolts and disconnect the throttle body from the intake air surge tank.

    3. Disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses from the throttle body.
    4. Remove the throttle body and gasket.
