Ignition Coil: Installation

  1. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the 6 ignition coils with the 6 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the 6 ignition coil connectors.

    3. Connect the 2 wire harness clamps and the noise filter connector.
  2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE 
    1. Connect the ventilation hose to the cylinder head cover with the clamp.
  4. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (See  INSTALLATION  )

  5. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  6. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  7. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  8. CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (See REPAIR INSTRUCTION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
