Front Brake Flexible Hose: Installation

INSTALL FRONT BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE
1. Connect the front brake flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket.
  Torque: 4GR-FSE
  
  30 N*m (310 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf)
  
  2GR-FSE
  
  39 N*m (400 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf)
  
  NOTE: Install the flexible hose lock securely in the lock hole in the disc brake cylinder assembly front.
2. Connect the brake tube to the front brake flexible hose with SST while holding the flexible hose with a wrench.

  Torque: 15 N*m (155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf)
  NOTE:
  - Do not bend or damage the brake tube
  - Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting points.
3. Install the front brake flexible hose with a new clip.
  NOTE:
  - When installing the front brake flexible hose, face the identification mark to the outside of the vehicle and minimize twisting of the hose.
  - Install the clip as far as it will go.
  - Pay attention to the color of the identification mark (RH: white/white, LH: white/blue) because the front brake flexible hose is different between right and left (4WD vehicle).
FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID (See BLEEDING )
BLEED BRAKE LINE (See Step 3 in BLEEDING )
BLEED BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (See Step 4 in BLEEDING )
INSPECT FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR (See Step 5 in BLEEDING )
INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE
INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 103 N*m (1,050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
