Rear Bumper: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Clearance Sonar System) (See Step 3 in  REMOVAL  ) 
  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Clearance Sonar System) (See Step 17 in  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Clearance Sonar System) 
  4. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Clearance Sonar System) 
  5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE LH 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper piece LH.
  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE RH

  7. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the screw.
    2. Disengage the claw and remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.
  8. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH 
  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR LH 
    1. Remove the rear bumper protector LH.
  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR RH 
  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Remove the rear bumper energy absorber with rear bumper bar.

    2. Remove the rear bumper energy absorber from the rear bumper bar.
  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER BAR

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT LH 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper arm reinforcement LH.
  15. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT RH

  16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 8 bolts.
    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.
    3. Remove the grommet.

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws, clip and No. 1 rear bumper side support LH.
  18. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

  19. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 rear bumper side support LH.
  20. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

  21. REMOVE UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and upper rear bumper retainer LH.
  22. REMOVE UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER RH
