Horn Relay: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FUSE (HORN) 
    1. Check the resistance of the HORN fuse.

      Standard: Below 1 Ω

  2. INSPECT HORN RELAY 
    1. Remove the engine room R/B and J/B (horn relay).
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in Fig 1 .

    Standard resistance 

    TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    2E-2 - 2G-2 Always 10 k ohms or higher
    2E-2 - 2G-2 When battery voltage is applied to terminals 2E-2 and 2F-2 Below 1 ohms
