Front Passenger Airbag Assembly: Removal

DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
NOTE: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.
REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUBASSEMBLY

Refer to the procedures up to "REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY".
REMOVE SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE NO.1 DUCT (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE HEATER TO REGISTER NO.1 DUCT (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the instrument panel wire assembly from the front passenger airbag assembly.
  NOTE: When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

2. Remove the 2 screws.

3. Disengage the 5 hooks (A).
4. Disengage the 5 hooks (B) and remove the front passenger airbag assembly from the instrument panel.
