Drive Belt: Removal

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See ) 
  2. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET 
    1. Remove the bolt and air cleaner inlet.
  3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and V-bank cover.
  4. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT 
    1. While releasing the belt tension by turning the belt tensioner counterclockwise, and remove the V belt from the belt tensioner.

    2. While turning the belt tensioner counterclockwise, align with its holes, and then insert the 5 mm bihexagon wrench into the holes to fix the belt tensioner.
