Entire Combination Meter does not Operate: Wiring Diagram
- CHECK COMBINATION METER (POWER SOURCE SYSTEM)
- Disconnect the K31 connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTerminal No. Condition Specified Condition K31-20 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage
STANDARD VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTerminal No. Condition Specified Condition K31-1 - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V K31-21 - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V K31-22 - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK : GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK COMBINATION METER (AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SYSTEM)
- Disconnect the K31 connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTerminal No. Condition Specified Condition K31-36 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG : Go to step 3
OK : REPLACE COMBINATION METER
- CHECK AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR
- Disconnect the V34 automatic light control sensor connector.
- Disconnect the K31 connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTerminal No. Condition Specified Condition K31-36 - K31-18 Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK : REPLACE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR
