Section 427 (Wheel & Tire System): Inspection

NOTE:
When disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the terminal is reconnected.

- INSPECT TIRE
- Check the tires for wear and proper inflation pressure.
Cold tire inflation pressure:
TIRE INFLATION PRESSURE SPECIFICATIONTire size Front kPa (kgf/cm2 , psi) Rear kPa (kgf/cm2 , psi) 225/65R17 101S P235/55R18 99V 210 (2.1, 30) 210 (2.1, 30) - Using a dial indicator, check the tire runout.
Tire runout: 1.0 mm (0.039 in.) or less
- Check the tires for wear and proper inflation pressure.
- ROTATE TIRE
HINT:
- Rotate tires as shown in the illustration.
- Rotate as shown in (A) if the spare tire is included in the rotation.
- INSPECT WHEEL BALANCE
- Check and adjust the Off-the-car balance.
- If necessary, check and adjust the On-the-car balance.
Imbalance after adjustment: 8.0 g (0.018 lb) or less
