Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT DLC3 TERMINAL VOLTAGE (TC TERMINAL) 
    1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    2. Measure the voltage between terminals TC and CG of the DLC3.

      OK: 10 to 14 V

    1. NG: Go to step   4 
    2. OK: Go to next step 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DLC3 - ECM) 
    1. Check for an open or short circuit in harness and connector between terminal TC of the ECM and DLC3 (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: Go to next step 
  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BODY GROUND - DLC3) 
    1. Check for an open circuit in harness and connector between terminal CG of the DLC3 and body ground (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: Go to next step 
  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - SKID CONTROL ECU) 
    1. Check for an open or short circuit in harness and connector between terminal ENG+ and ENG- of the skid control ECU and terminal ENG+ and ENG- of the ECM (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: REPLACE ABS & TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSY (See  REPLACEMENT  )
