Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - ECM) 
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP. 
  2. INSPECT ECM TERMINAL VOLTAGE (NEO TERMINAL) 
    1. Disconnect the brake actuator connector.
    2. Measure the voltage between the terminal NEO of the skid control ECU and body ground under the engine conditions below.

      OK: 

    VOLTAGE REFERENCE

    Engine condition Voltage
    OFF (Ignition switch ON) 3 to 6 V or below 1 V
    ON (Idling) 3 to 6 V <--> below 1 V (Pulse)

    1. NG: CHECK AND REPLACE ECM 
    2. OK: IF THE SAME CODE IS STILL OUTPUT AFTER THE DTC IS DELETED, CHECK THE CONTACT CONDITION OF EACH CONNECTION
