Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT SKID CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR (+BS TERMINAL VOLTAGE) 
    1. Disconnect the brake actuator connector.
    2. Measure the voltage between terminals +BS and GND of the brake actuator harness side connector.

      OK: 

      Voltage: 10 to 14 V

    1. NG: Go to step   2 
    2. OK: IF THE SAME CODE IS STILL OUTPUT AFTER THE DTC IS DELETED, CHECK THE CONTACT CONDITION OF EACH CONNECTION 
  2. INSPECT FUSE (ABS2 FUSE) 
    1. NG: CHECK FOR SHORT IN ALL HARNESS AND CONNECTOR CONNECTED FUSE AND REPLACE FUSE 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. INSPECT SKID CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR (GND TERMINAL CONTINUITY) 
    1. Disconnect the brake actuator connector.
    2. Measure the resistance between terminal GND of the skid control ECU harness side connector and the body ground.

      OK: 

      Resistance: 1 Ω or less

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: REPLACE ABS & TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSY (See  REPLACEMENT  )
