Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - ECM) 
    1. Disconnect the skid control ECU connector S1 and the ECM connector E5.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in Fig 2 .

      Standard:

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in Fig 3 .

      Standard:

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP. 

  2. INSPECT ECM TERMINAL VOLTAGE (NEO TERMINAL) 
    1. Reconnect the ECM connector E5 and the skid control ECU connector S1.

    3. Check the signal waveform between terminal NEO (E5-17) of the ECM and body ground for the engine conditions below.

    Standard: 

    1. Waveform similar to that in  Fig 6  is output.

    NG: CHECK AND REPLACE ECM 

    OK: IF THE SAME CODE IS STILL OUTPUT AFTER THE DTC IS DELETED, CHECK THE CONTACT CONDITION OF EACH CONNECTION
