Inspection Procedure

HINT:

  1. CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (STEERING ANGLE SENSOR CONNECTOR) 
    1. Remove the steering wheel and column lower cover.
    2. Disconnect the steering angle sensor connector.
    3. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    4. Measure voltage between terminals 1 and 2, 2 and 3 of the steering angle sensor harness side connector.

      OK: 

      Voltage: 10 to 14 V

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: REPLACE STEERING ANGLE SENSOR
