Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE(GAUGE2, ECU-B, DOME) 
    1. Measure the resistance GAUGE2, ECU-B, DOME fuse.

      Standard: Below 1 Ω 

    1. NG: REPLACE FUSE 
    2. OK: Go to next step 
  2. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in COMBINATION METER ASSY TERMINALS RESISTANCE  .

      Standard: 

      COMBINATION METER ASSY TERMINALS RESISTANCE

      Terminal No Condition Specified condition
      C9-1 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in COMBINATION METER ASSY TERMINALS VOLTAGE  .

      Standard: 

      COMBINATION METER ASSY TERMINALS VOLTAGE

      Terminal No Condition Specified condition
      C8-15 - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      C8-16 - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      C8-8 - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSY (See  OVERHAUL  )
