    1. NG: REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSY (See  OVERHAUL  )
    2. OK: Go to next step
  2. READ VALUE OF HAND-HELD TESTER
    1. Operate the hand-held tester according to the steps on the display and select the "DATA LIST".

    2. NG: Go to next step
  3. INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSY
    1. Remove the fuel sender gauge assy.
    2. Check that the float position is between E and F and measure resistance between the terminals 2 and 3 of connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSY TERMINALS RESISTANCE  .

      Standard:

FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSY TERMINALS RESISTANCE

Float level Float position mm (in.) Resistance (Ω)
      F 81.5(3.20) +/- 3(0.12) 4.0 +/- 1
      12 5.2(0.20) +/- 3(0.12) 59 +/- 3
      E 102.2(4.00) +/- 3(0.12) 110.0 +/- 1
