Inspection Procedure

HINT:

Start the inspection from step  1 in case of using the hand-held tester and start from step  2 in case of using the hand-held tester.

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY SLIP INDICATOR LIGHT 
   1. Check that "ON" and "OFF" of the SLIP indicator light can be shown on the combination meter with the hand-held tester.
   1. OK: Go to step   3 
   2. NG: GO TO NEXT STEP. 
2. INSPECT SLIP INDICATOR LIGHT 
   1. See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING .
   1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
   2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP. 
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - COMBINATION METER) 
   1. Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between skid control ECU and combination meter (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
   1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
   2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
